Gone Gone Gone
I am off on a quilting retreat for the weekend with the Tri-county Quilters, my quilt guild. I will be a bit out of my element as they have no internet at this camp but I have lots of projects readied and just waiting for me to get there and get started. Imagine 14 women, all quilters, all yakking and carrying on for about 48 hours. Last year I went and slept in a sleeping bag. One woman had a quilt to curl in. How cool I thought. I remember thinking that should be me but then all my quilts go away from me. Not this year. I managed to get one of my ebay quilt tops quilted on Maxine, my APQS machine this week and so I get to be one of those lucky women curled up in a glorious quilt! I would love to be able to show the woman who lovingly made the top how awesome it looks today and that I will be proud and happy to be sleeping under it. Hey, Happy National Quilting Day- that is tomorrow! Happy Happy Joy Joy.
My helper- always ready to get in the way but how can you not stop the world and curl up with that face for a bit?
