Sew, it seams to be the theme of the week
Last Sunday my Sister-in-law Elsie was in a nasty accident on her way to church. The roads were not bad when she left but freezing rain began to fall right as she got to the most dangerous part of her trip. She was taken to the hospital in great pain. I decided that I needed to make a quilt for her to cheer her up.
Elsie returned home Friday after having stress fractures in her spine being glued together. My Hubby told her that they use Gorilla glue because we are all descendants ...
Anyway, Elsie teared up when I presented her with this quilt. This is the 4th quilt I have done on Maxine, my new APQS long arm. Not bad.
I also finished my daughter's quilt this week. her's was the third quilt done on Maxine. I am learning faster then I would have believed.
I also made pillowcases for my quilt guild, the Tri-County Quilters Guild. Between the 20ish members we made 112 pillowcases to be donated to our local Children's Hospital.
Yes, it was a good week! Be blessed!
