Life- Take It or Leave It

My sister called last night to fill me in on the folks. She took my stepfather in to get blood work done and then took him to the clinic to get his chemo. She left him there to go get Mom and take her home from the hospital. She was just getting Mom settled in when the phone ran. They decided that Dan needed to be admitted to the hospital. He is very anemic right now.

Jenn and I are planning on leaving PA very early Sunday morning to get out there. It is looking more likely that I will fly Jenn home so she can go do her house-sitting in Boston and I will be staying on at Moms for a while. All the plans for moving them into assisted living have come to a halt. Now we must find ways to make them comfortable at home for as long as need be.
