I was driving and stopped the spedition on the side of the road to get this picture. Im sorry I cant even remember where it was- Im thinking S. Dakota but when you drive 2200 miles in 53 hours things get a bit fuzzy in the brain.
We were driving through Minn. about dusk and Hubby's bro got a bad leg cramp. He is on meds for his leukemia which is in remission thanks to the meds. Anyway the meds cause real bad cramps at times so we pulled over to let him walk it off. I had pulled us off just past the on ramp. Hubby took over the driving after the walk fixed things and off we went only to be pulled over about 1 mile down the road. The cop stopped us saying that he had clocked us at 18 mph- he was going the other way. We got a warning for stopping on the side of the road- there are rest areas about every 50 miles- great we will keep that in mind the next time we get a flat tire or anything that would make one need to pull over onto the side of the interstate-duh!
I am a woman searching for my inner goddess and using fabrics, words and photography as my road map. I find great comfort and order in my creative efforts and hope that in sharing them you find a peace also. Welcome and Be Blessed!
