Habits

I found a quote today that exemplifies what I so verbosely tried to explain yesterday, at least, I think it does.

Maxine and I have been keeping each other company today and I must say that after a slight misunderstanding this morning, we are getting along just fine this afternoon.

My daughter explained to me that this first quilt was like a huge speed bump and that I just needed to find my way over and past it. I must admit that it was a huge one- partly my making- and it needed everything I had within me to get over it- I am still not to the other side yet but I will be shortly and then I will tell you the full story of me and Maxine and speed bumps and things that go bump in the night.

PS. Sister of mine, you better be cleaning up your bedroom cause this quilt is closer to being done then ever before.
