I am a woman searching for my inner goddess and using fabrics, words and photography as my road map. I find great comfort and order in my creative efforts and hope that in sharing them you find a peace also. Welcome and Be Blessed!

Thirteen Things from the Red Queens Life

Thirteen things from the Red Queens life:

1. I can still find 4 leaf clovers- can you?

2. My kittens need to find a new home soon.

3. I have to be at the bus stop at 6:30 am to go on a quilt trip to Columbus Ohio. 3 days of quilts and fabric and no dishes and new friends and new ideas.

4. I needed a new suitcase- I found amazing bargains at the local luggage outlet that is closing forever on Sat.

5. I have Caterpillar Yellow paint all over me- its enamel so its gonna be there a bit. I had to paint a backhoe bucket today.

7. I watched the Narnia movie this last week and enjoyed it very much.

8. I got my new glasses tonight- only reading glasses- whew!

9. I saw a cool tshirt on tv tonight- If you are not living on the edge, you are taking up too much space. I love it!!!

10. Lately I have been feeling creatively constipated. I just can't create.

11. I needed a sport to keep me till football( go Steelers!!)and after basketball- I have discovered NASCAR and I love it.

Red Queen's Mission Statement

I believe that things can always be cured with a hug and a cup of tea, fixed with either a needle and thread, duct tape, WD40 or coke, and that prayer works every time. I take in strays whether in animal or childlike form. I have been mother to many for a time and this is my way of keeping up with some of those straying children that I miss. I appreciate shock value and use it often to remind people that the world is round and colorful and we are not all living in square brown cardboard boxes with little holes cut in for windows. Look for the warm fuzzies- God delivers them up fresh every day just to say- I think you are pretty darned special- so special that I have your picture up on my fridge for life and I am sending you a hug to remind you that you matter to me.
